SPRING ROADSIDE CHPPING
Thanks for all who offered to volunteer for the chipping work this weekend! The Plan is to meet at the bus stop at 8am and proceed from there. I’ve attached a map of SAHA with general notes on it for our use. We’ll move along the road, stopping where needed, and chip material as we go. PPE that you should have with you are safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and ear plugs or muffs. It will be hard work, but the most important thing about this operation is we all go home safely! Before we start, we’ll have a safety meeting to go over the hazards of the work, how we can best mitigate those hazards and general roles for each of us and an explanation of how the chipper works.
