EXTREME HEAT AND FIRE DANGER

Dangerously hot temperatures for June. Please be aware.

GENERAL UPDATES

  •  Please drive carefully, some cars speeding through the neighborhood,  reminder to slow down
  • Dogs are being left untethered outside and are chasing people apparently. A reminder to maintain control of pets at all times
  • Roadside vegetation on people’s property needs to be maintained

TRAILS

The SAHA trail remains a pleasure to walk, although there are some short sections where the grass has grown up above 2 feet.  At least one homeowner has expressed concern about this on Facebook.

In previous years we have not had to cut the grass this early.  Mindful that we have budgeted for only two rounds of trail maintenance, I have asked the contractor (Morans and Daltons Tree Service) to perform the first round during the second half of July.    Trail Committee Chair – Bob Pond

Until then, the trail will remain in good condition for hiking or horse riding but homeowners will have to excuse the sections of higher grass.

BUDGET VOTE

The results of the budget vote are final.

2021 budget did pass, out of 95 potential votes, we received back 44. Out of the 44 votes received, 37 were in favor of the budget while 7 were opposed.
