RE: SAHA 2020 Annual Meeting

Greetings Neighbors;

I hope this letter finds you well and you are adapting to our changed way of life. Due to the times we are in we are needing to hold our Annual Meeting on Zoom, June 3rd at 7 pm. Instructions on how to join the Zoom meeting will be on the SAHA website calendar and in an Evite you will receive shortly. Please join us for this meeting. Your participation in the process is critical to the health and success of our neighborhood organization.

In February you received a packet of information for the Annual Meeting which included:

  • Meeting Agenda
  • 2020 Proposed Budget
  • 2020 Sample Ballot for new BOD Members
  • 2020 Proxy Document

To save money, we are not resending these materials via the postal service – only the letter you are reading here.  Copies of the documents are attached, and they will also be available in the Homeowner’s portal of the SAHA website.  (https://summitautumnhills.org/) Please contact any board member if you need any of these documents reprinted for you as we will happily accommodate.

On the Zoom meeting we will have a quick vote to approve the Annual meeting being held electronically then your HOA Officers will give you a ‘State of the Association’ and a budget review, and then committee representatives will recap 2019 as well as lay out a game plan for 2020.

We will also hear from those who want to run for the board. There are four positions open. Attendance is so important as these representatives steer the direction of our community and it is important that your voice is represented.

Voting on the new board members and the budget will happen the next day, June 4th in the garage of Ron & Solita Wiegand (29201 NE 85th Circle) from 10 am to 7 pm. (We have held the yearly potluck there the last few years.)  Upon arrival you will be given your official ballot for voting.  Each lot is awarded one vote so should you not be able to get to the Wiegand’s please complete the General Proxy document and give to a trusted neighbor so that they may vote on your behalf. There will be a list of the committees there, so please review and sign up for one. We need your continued help and support to keep the neighborhood running.

This meeting and vote will mark the end of the allowed term of service for both myself and Treasurer, Amy Ohara.  I speak for both of us when I say it has been an honor to serve this great community and we look forward to continued involvement in the years to come.

Jerald Earl
